Princes Diana (Gadot) is raised on the Amazonian island of Themyscira, and after saving the American pilot Steve Trevor (Pine) after he crashes off the coast of the island, Diana learns about the ongoing global conflict through Trevor. Guo performs the song “is he with you?” utilizing an electric cello and the base track at this point in the movie.
The long heroic adventure of Diana is launched by the pilot’s rescue. When the party of a German Cruiser pursuing Steve, the pilot, lands at the site of the accident, a fierce exchange of fire ensue leading to the death of all the German sailors and Antiope who tries to intercept a bullet meant for Diana. At this point, the music beats are raising the adrenaline of everybody involved. Looks like the Pilot may not survive and Diana is a hero who has not known her true worth. It is even more heartbreaking that the pilot, Steve, may succumb to injuries before he says anything meaningful to Diana. Tensions are rising; music beats are rising even louder. Suddenly, everything comes to a standstill, shock facial expressions in Diana’s eyes appear and music is completely shut. Choreography takes stage.
To the relief of Diana, Steve is able to control himself and finally says something to Diana. “ I am an allied spy in the world war that is tearing apart the world out there, I stole a notebook with valuable information from the Spanish chief chemist, Isabel Maru and I believe this can be of help.” The good news here is, Steve can still walk and give directions to Diana. As they walk away, angel on the wing song by Williams sings, in a soft tone, able to bring down tears.
Diana and Steve then surrender the notebook to the Supreme War Council who is making attempts to negotiate an armistice with Germany. Since Diana is talented in multilingual ability, she translates Meru’s notes that Germany is planning a release of a deadly gas at the warfront. Steve then acts behind his commanders and hires a spy called Marksman Charlie. However, the attempt to prevent the gas is met with resistance from the Germans in the Belgium front. The song of ‘no man’s land’ starts at this point. Diana, as brave as she is, pushes alone and rallies the Allied forces behind her to liberate the village of Veld.
The song beats change abruptly with Trafalgar celebration song coming in as the team briefly celebrates the victory and takes a group photograph. Later in the night, ‘pain, loss and love’ song is played as Diana and Steve share a passionate kiss.
As the movie comes to an end, the song of ‘wonder woman’s wrath’ brings the climax war between Diana and Sir Patrick who reveals himself as Ares. The cause of their duel is the disagreement that Diana should help in destroying humankind. This battle is even more interesting now that Diana has realized she is the true ”God killer” as the daughter of Zeus. Diana realizes that, now more than never, her work is to protect the humankind. In the process, Steve manages to detonate gas, sacrificing himself in the process. Back in London, there is celebration for an end of the war.
