Homeowners are only accountable for accidents that occur on their property if their negligence was to blame, as is the case in almost all personal injury instances. In these situations, the insurer only pays for negligence-related losses. As a result, the fact that liability insurance was admissible as proof shows that the homeowner committed negligence. Under MD Rule 8-202 (a) filing for an appeal case from the Orphan’s to the Circuit Court takes place within 30 days after the judgment.
Under the Maryland rules, the prosecution and defense in a criminal trial should consist of 12 members (Serving on a Maryland Trial Jury 1). Thus an 11-member jury is not allowed.
Federal Rules
Under U.S.C.A. Fed. R. Crim. P. Rule 43 (a) (2) the trial cannot proceed because the defendant should be present at every trial.
In a civil case, U.S.C.A. Fed. R. Civil P. Rule 35 (a) allows the court to order to a party with controversial blood group to submit to a physical examination by a certified examiner.
