The Use of Atomic Bombs in World War II

It was an era of revenge with various leaders seeking for the most appropriate move that can be applied to inflict pain on their enemies. This was a period of warfare with various leaders having an urge to test their weapons demonstrating their mighty in the world. However, the majority of these nations were based on the pieces of advice that they attained from their immediate advisors. For example, Henry L. Stimson seconded the use of atomic bombs over Japan though it seemed to have already surrendered with no plans of getting into any war activity. It is an act that has not provided any explanations as to why it was used as critics continue documenting the losses that Japan incurred during this atomic warfare era.

Under a political perspective, the United States was interested in influencing the leadership in Japan. On the other hand, Japan had a great defense with a strong army on its islands.
