There are groups of individuals in every culture, though they are pronounced in low tones. The formalized paraphrase According to Fragher et al. (2016), American social patterns and cultural developments played a significant role in the evolution of social groups. Initially, the American people had no social divisions, and historians saw America as a nation of limitless possibilities. The social classes emerged as a result of the British imperial inversion. In the United Kingdom, there are different groups of citizens depending on their capital. This article examines the observers’ assertion that there was distinct American slavery and the rise of the American civilization. In America, there existed no social classes, and therefore, the idea of social class was brought by the British during the colonial times. In Britain, there was well defines classes of people in the society, and therefore, during the colonial times the British brought in the idea to the American people. One of the factors that contributed to the emergence of the social classes is the wealth factor (Fragher et al., 2016).

Economic activities were used to portray the class to which everyone belonged. The upper class consisted of wealthy merchants, therefore; their population was low compared to the other social cases. The population continued to increase as one goes down the social class. The upper class worked in high-rank offices and also had high investments in the societies they were mostly leaders in the community. They made every decision, rules and also the execution of rules. The upper class had a lot of money and investments that could leave them with money for luxury. The middle class had money but not much as the upper class. They secured white collar jobs and engaged in businesses. The lower class had no money, lived in small pieces of land and also involved in small businesses to earn a living. The unique slavery class had no land, and they worked, therefore, for the upper and middle class’ land and were not paid cash, but instead were given food to compensate their hard labor (Fragher et al., 2016).

Authority was another factor that significantly contributed to the class development. The upper class was the final decision makers, and they made the rules and regulations that guided the rest of the class. Fragher et al. (2016) point out that the upper class was above the rules and could execute the punishment to the wrongdoer in other classes in the hierarchy.

Education also played a significant role in the class distribution as the upper class had their schools where their children belonged while the other classes had a low-quality education. The lower class did not attend any school as they were considered illiterate. They were conspired to manual work for the upper and middle-class businesses and also in the plantations (Fragher et al., 2016).

In conclusion, it is clear that the American society had developed the classes that defined the living of every class of people. The unique slavery class had no option as they were forced to follow the made rules. The upper class oppressed the poor were in the lower and the slavery classes in the society. From the above statements the upper class defined the rules and regulations of the society, therefore, I concur with the assessment that there was a developed unique slavery class in the American society and also the emergence of a unique American society as well.
