I must acknowledge that you have observed how relevant technology is to teaching and learning as a whole based on the way you portray technology and the technological devices that have been included into contemporary lifestyle and educational systems. The idea that technology enhances learning generally by making resources like books, games, and other learning materials available gives us insight into the beneficial effects of technology on pedagogy (Fullan, 2013). Showing how technology has enhanced and supplemented traditional learning and teaching methods rather than replacing them, in my opinion, is important because it disabuses people of the misconception that learning will only be possible via the use of current technology. Besides, how you mention the negative influence technology can have on young minds is incredible. The way in which you are encouraging the students to be self-reflective in the way they utilize the materials found over the internet, television, and other media devices that depend on technology is important in maintaining ethics as the students learn. Moreover, I like your proposal for the change in the media literacy to incorporate technology in transforming the society for the promotion of the understanding of culture and the diversity in communities. Notably, I have been under situations which demanded interpretation of media messages for purposes of changing beliefs and behaviors (Fullan, 2013). The inclusion of technological devices I the literacy will contribute to the understanding and appreciation of what is good or bad in the media presented. Therefore, I agree that the change will attract the interest of learners to enjoy learning through the open resources available over the internet, magazines, and televisions among other devices. Integrating technology in pedagogy will contribute to changing classroom experience for the better and promote understanding.
