Strategic Social Media Marketing Plan

Since the beginning of access to a larger base market for Rising Stars, there was a need to quickly and craftily develop a social media marketing strategic plan to prevent struggle of engagement with the customers. As such, the management resolved on the establishment of Social Media Monitoring technologies that would solicit and monitor the public opinions in regard to brand and products offered to see the organization withstand any future emerging turbulences. Thus, it incorporated other business processes that could enhance success and its survival (Millic, 2017).

Implementation of Social Media Campaigns

They included; implementation of social media campaigns in a bid to acquire new customers to add to the existing ones. It was achieved by creating traffic on Facebook, Twitter, and on our website. There was also the measuring of the strategic business impact of social media towards Rising Star’s reputation among people, expansion of strategies that would raise revenue collected, and still retain the number of customers. Incentives for strengthening customer social engagements were also developed.

Fine-tuning our Social Media Plan

In order to fine-tune our social media plan, we have to understand that each platform has its own distinct way of determining important content to be viewed by users. For instance, Facebook relies on pleasing one’s interests and desires. Therefore, Rising Stars publicity team has to ensure that its clients consistently interact with their posts preferably not at any specific moment. Customers’ activities have to be checked in order to establish their interests and successfully create engagement-driven posts that fit their desires. For the case of Twitter, it takes into account the essence of timing. The team therefore, has to identify particular times that their audience access Twitter. All the above aspects can be enhanced by targeting the right audience as per their availability, being consistent in our interaction with them, strengthening the offline relationship, and maintaining a good brand image through good reputation.

Measuring Returns on Social Media Investments

It is the sole expectation of any business organization to have a return on investments made in the economy, Rising Star not being an exception. Customers will only be convinced if at all they are shown measurable and specific outcomes to prove the legitimacy of the organization. Since it is a non-profit organization, its returns from the social media investments cannot be measured by the profits gained, but rather by metrics such as customer outreach and engagement, number of people who have visited our sites, number of people who have subscribed to email notifications and downloaded premium contents, and those who have filled up application forms on our website (Campbell, 2017). They can also be supplemented by the goals set to be achieved.

Budget Considerations

When coming up with our budget, we have to primarily consider some aspects. First, we have to define our audience. In this case, those that are willing to maintain a healthy life through fitness and gaming and those to develop their talent. Secondly, select social media channels that abide by to our culture to create a user-friendly value proposition and finally develop different types of contents and track their performance in the selected platforms (Milbrath, 2016). The selected budget should then focus on costs involved in the content creation of videos and pictures, software and tools development to make advertisement efficient, audience research and analysis of the market, promotions, and competitions whether through Facebook app or Hashtags to engage clients. They are accompanied by discounts and offers.
