Resignation Letter Example

Following a violation of the company’s code of conduct, I herein resign from the position of “name of the position held,” ”Employee Number.”  Please note I came to the office today, but you were out on a family emergency. I mistakenly used the company name, which resulted in a conflict of interest.

I had accepted a full-time employment offer with the company not knowing the decision would result in a conflict of interest with the company. I was informed so today by the managers while making a follow up on my cases I presented to them before I took my days off. I am a law-abiding citizen who would not knowingly violate or jeopardize the company’s integrity or its mission. Please accept my sincere apologies having breached the company’s code of conduct.

The managers inquired the reason I had not mentioned or even discussed the offer with you. Kindly note that I did not find it important to share the information concerning the fulltime offer with you until I was certain about it. I believed that my tech competency and other factors as determined by the management team would increase my chances of being hired. I, therefore, enrolled in tech –evals.

I have always considered myself a loyal employee of the company. I am, therefore, indebted to having remarkably trained and shaped my networks security skills. I am still willing and determined to contribute to the mission if granted another chance. That is the reason I was reluctant to resign earlier as I was considering the company’s offer. Besides, I had family problems that nearly resulted in my father’s demise as explained in our conversation dated May 24, 2018.

I appreciate your leadership skills that have refined and revolutionized the company as well as improved the Web Focus Team for better results and increase customer satisfaction.

Because I may no longer work for the company, I would love to leave the Web focus team the motto that ”The mission is not completed yet, until the customer is happy.”

It has been a great experience working for the company.
