Many research have been undertaken to examine the association between optimism and cognitive performance in the modern era. Many businesses in the United States are taking research samples in order to get the best outcomes and solutions for their relationships. According to the research, there is a significant difference between the two notions. Furthermore, optimism can be defined as the state of anticipating a positive outcome for something, whereas cognitive ability is the underlying reliance on the mental power to complete tasks ranging from the simple to the complex or extremely advanced. On the other hand, optimism is a concern with the states of results in the brain while cognitive abilities consider the memory functions, knowledge acquiring and individual attentiveness. Although there are gaps and issues in business and societies are the world concerning the relationship, from this study, the clear definition and result will be brought into the light and focused clearly on the data outcomes and the methodologies used. From the research conducted earlier with other scholars elsewhere, suggest that neither of the results where resulting into a significant relationship with the individuals in an organization and their performance (Doyle, 2010).
Additionally, the paper focused on the appliance of the relationship in the future. That is, the relationship tries to explain how the two depend on each other; furthermore, a hypothesis test was conducted for the dependency and an online survey. Finally, the results for the relationship between the two concepts are illustrated in the research. Also, this paper tries to focus and get the results based on the relationship between optimisms and cognitive ability in entrepreneur’s performance in organizations and in business.
From the analysis above, it is clear that there are some significant relationships represented above such as;
The effects of cognitive mechanisms on the persistence and optimisms in entrepreneur are based on the human behavior. The entrepreneur depends on the character traits of individuals.
Additionally, the key control variables to attain the results are company size, time of existence, entrepreneur’s age and the levels of education.
From the data above, the results illustrate that from experiments and procedures undertaken conducted o entrepreneurs about the relationship show that there is a correction in terms age, levels of education and the size and time of existence.
There was analysis conducted to find whether or not if the hypothesis suggested were correct. Through that, determining the measure of individual ages about the optimism and cognitive ability to entrepreneurs, the ages differ regarding answers provided because the results indicated that most age groups were not aware of the hypothesis. Thus, the relationship was mild or small in that respect. The average age was 26.27, which was amounted to 14.579 as the individuals who took the survey.
Other similar hypothesis conducted about the performance of the entrepreneur based on the experience and professional level of the individual in an organization suggested that those who had experience are favored and have cognitive abilities. Also, the relationship exists because the primary variables are required to having a better decision making regarding optimism. Also, the older people when it comes to the cognitive ability it reduced with time; so the younger individuals are not linked to such depression. Therefore from the data, the mindset of individuals, influence the cognitive abilities. Consequently, another hypothesis based on the level of education influence the outcome because from the most people who are educated have thing ability and are always seen to have a solution in organizations. From the data and information above, the results indicate that the CEO at their levels has critical and important decisions in which their decisions are paramount. Finally, the researched methodology used above brings in a clear and concise information that the two concepts relate to each other in one way or another in the organization.
The results above provide critical information about the relationship and some of the variables that affect or influence optimism and cognitive ability. From studies should be conducted based on a large data that could bring forth accurate and close insight the results on the ground. Also, the research on based is finding on a small portion of the organization, therefore if there was a wide range of questionnaire distribute to the internet and other areas, then the result may bring much correct outcome (Seligman, 2011).
The methods used above assisted in finding the accurate results for the study. However, the participants were 73 who were employed to conduct and help in produce the results, which is quite unfair because, when a sample portion is taken, things to consider would be the sample size. Therefore, the results would be inaccurate compared to a large sample where most individuals participate. Another, negative effect of the methods is based on the optimism scale. These are negative because memory test may result in low accuracy. Here, the brain should be checked if the if it’s functioning well because it may results in irrelevant outcomes thus gives power results. From my own perspective, the organization should employ interview because it is quite accurate. Here individuals are tested in their relationship on the concept face to face and one would see the facial expression if it is right or wrong. Finally, the research should try to employ methods that are cost effective and efficient and would bring forth straight accurate results.
Additionally, the tools used to check optimisms and cognitive ability should be checked by an experienced neuropsychologist who understands human behaviors. All the results should be assessed with the psychologist because they provide the right answer when it comes to mindset activities. Finally, the research should be based on the objectives of finding the relationship that exists between the two concepts, and it should be able to answer the problem statement that exists. Moreover, the results are correct that there is a relationship between optimism and cognitive ability.
To sum up, it is important to understand individual’s confidence and cognitive ability within the professional environments. The relationship between optimisms and cognitive ability to people always affect the performance of individuals. Other variables are supposed to be considered when it comes to organization behavior. With these two concepts, organizations are always effective and efficient in their employee’s performance. Moreover, the results are supposed to lead the organization to understand individual behaviors and try to correct where possible.
