Learning Profile and Career Objectives

College is a personal satisfaction for which I have always wished to be accepted. Many people have various motives for wanting to attend college, the majority of which are educational in nature. About the fact that the prime purpose of college is schooling, I personally want to enter such a prestigious institution for two purposes. One of them is to advance my college credentials, and the second and most important purpose is to comprehend the weight of obligation. And most children from affluent social classes, high school is something like a formality. It is something of practice that most students get along well without any accountability. However, in college one gets the opportunity to explore more than just education. The institution creates an environment where one is able to express themselves and air their views without subjugation. More so, attending college at this moment where organizations have become more involved in student welfare through internships, and fellowships depict the necessity of attending college. It underpins the relevance and esteem that most college students are regarded of by corporations. I have always believed that responsibility together with freedom to make choices freely is what determines the future of a person.

Attending college also creates a strong foundation for which I am able to compete with hardworking, creative and very intellectual individuals. Such a feat is especially crucial since it prepares me for the demands of the labor market. Many people are learned but not all of them are molded to influence change beyond their educational merits. I believe that competing with intellectuals at college level coupled with various responsible causes to nurture one’s productivity will go a long way towards establishing a creative and industrious personality within me that can influence change in my future profession.

My Journey in school has always been an interesting one especially since it was filled with so many experiences. My parents have always been interested in my development as a person and education has been a fundamental aspect of that journey. Most people argue that education is not always the ladder towards success and often use examples of affluent people in society to support their case. Despite such claims, I came to realize that education comes in many forms and it all depends on a person’s inclination to ensure that every experience is a lesson. I have been privileged to attend school since early childhood and each subject, lesson, and teaching I have had in the classroom and outside has been exceptional in creating such a thirst for continuous studies. Valuables such as personal belongings, monetary gains, jobs titles among other grants can be replaced, however, educational merits and recognition are inalienable. They form an individual’s character, attitude, and personality that cannot be changed or challenged by any person or organization thus emphasizing how much I value my studies.

Austin Community College is an excellent institution which offers all-around support to its students through a reliable strategic framework plan. For this semester I would like to add more credibility to my study through enrolling in the community programs. This will allow me to explore more on the skills I have and enrich my personal life through socializing and training on more practical courses. The variety of choices is wide and my interest has always been in photography which has always been an inviting passion.

To ensure that both my goals in excelling in my course of study as well as having time to develop photography skills and importance I am willing to exhaust all resources available at my disposal. It is an expensive affair to collaborate the two courses and requesting for a financial aid within the school system will go a long way towards achieving my objectives. Furthermore, I plan on acquiring tutoring and academic help through attending workshops and every possible tutoring service being offered by the school to ensure that I improve my chances of excelling for the semester. Despite my interest in co-curricular activities and skills training while attending ACC, my ultimate education goal is to complete my credit program thus enabling me to further my studies as time passes by. Presently am interested in Environmental Science and Technology. The course acts as a bridge towards becoming an advocate for conserving the environment as well as empowering, teaching and training society on the benefits of conservancy acts. After the program, I am interested in conducting a baccalaureate degree in the same profession to add more credibility to my academic merit. ACC is an exceptional institution and a foundation that will enable me to become a key contributor to the positive change in society.
