The 21st century artists globally employ modern technological knowhow in various artworks. Modern technology has substantially impacted many artists’ artworks in the 21st century. The internet has made the world a small village where people can interact through social media[3]. Artists have benefited from employment of modern technology. Notably, their works have been made easier and faster than before. For example both Lilian Schwartz and Tracey Moffatt depict modern artists who have intensively employed digital techniques in developing computerized artworks and video artworks. Moffatt, a renowned recent artist, has a history in employing films extensively in her art craft using modern techniques to create a collection of clips from movies and television programs. Schwartz, a modern artist is widely known for using computer technology to develop and control artworks. Besides, she has owns a legacy courtesy of her contribution in writing about influence of computer technology on arts. Moffatt uses films in art forms. Most of his work centrally employs modern technology in movies and television content production. In addition, visual culture has become popular as a new discipline of study that employs a multi-faceted method to aid in understanding how images of different forms communicate and collaborate in the development of identity. Similarly, modern artists draw motivations, imagery, materials and ideas from different cultural backgrounds to advance their exhibitions by making them more appealing.

In modern technology, artists use computers, installations, sounds and videos in their artworks hence gaining popularity from increased globalization. Modern technology has provided an opportunity for artists to engage in research, explore new methods and use old fashioned painting and drawing in developing new modern means of creating artwork. [5]Additionally, internet provides a key platform for contemporary artists as medium of displaying designed artworks with online galleries and museums, communicate with other artists across the world, and market their arts as well as sell their works. The internet plays an integral role in capacitating 21st century artists to create platforms that pave way for interactions with customers and other artists[6]. Modern artists use internet to learn new valuable ideas useful to incorporate in their work of arts from their interaction with different people in social media.
Recent computers have various programs. Today, artists can employ Photoshop software for example to alter and manipulate photographs. Moreover, the Painter software can be applied to colour pictures using desired colors by artists. Thus, with use of computer technology manipulation and painting of images is easier as opposed to traditional drawing and painting that would take months to complete[7]. Present artists continue advancing with help of technology by employing modernized artwork techniques to generate internet based art crafts, shows and displays currently used globally. Modern technology is constantly changing rapidly. Hence, impact on recent art is sometimes difficult to note. However, artists must remain steadfast with the ever dynamic technology[8]. The modern technology function is similar to traditional artist’s tools. However, it provides various opportunities and improved methods to create art works. Multiple opportunities are presented by modern technology in production of arts. Technology anchored gadgets including ringing cell phones may create interference during live performance ultimately disrupting audience attention. However, internet and social media plays a significant role in ensuring increased participations coupled with having a more diverse audience through fostering global reach and coverage[9]. Globalization has increased people’s interaction and exchange of information across borders. The internet has intensively created awareness about modern artwork both within the country and across the world hence accelerating growth of the art discipline. Similarly, a notable movement of modern artists has increased thus further helping in learning new ideas of art craft. Moreover, digital art production and online distribution have further helped in matching the artwork with the general public through allowing real time flow of information. Therefore, technology has contributed to advancement of artwork in the modern era thus making it popular across the world and helping people appreciate its educative role in the society coupled with promoting artists by broadening customer base through online distribution.
Lillian Schwartz, an American great artist is known for performing different tests and experiments through computer arts. Contemporary artists employ computer techniques to assess and generate artworks. Schwartz remains a recent painter to pioneer use of computer photographs and digital decorations in artworks. Schwartz created one of the first music videos along other scientists in early stages of computer development. Additionally, she made a digitalized video showing different forms of figures with diverse colors that is on record as a primary work of computer film artwork across the world. She developed a collection of clips on people of color servitudes gossiping about their masters in an attempt to demonstrate discrimination towards minorities groups which is often apparent in movies. Her work showed that only a small percentage of directors in Hollywood had allowed black actresses to take part in plays. She tried to expose high rate of racism which is underestimated while watching movies. However, after carefully collecting several pictures from diverse movie series and assembling them, it became easier to comprehend the unfair treatment directed on blacks[12]. Another popular recent film she developed resulted after watching shows that shocked her since the modern society could not understand the contemporary art. The film provided splendid ideas showing how painters are perceived in the world today, where artists more often on popular televisions and radios refers to musicians and overlook visual artists. Tracey Moffatt instils encouragement and motivation gathered right from her childhood to create modern film art craft of her own. [13]Modern technology depicts an influence on the artwork generated by contemporary painters like Moffatt, who developed their own creative concepts directly from insights revealed from movies and television programs. In many of her films, she employs multicultural understood imagery, from video and programs which she has watched from her childhood to develop films to convey a particular message to people.
