Exceptional students is a term used to refer to students with behavior or learning problems, students with sensory impairment or physical disabilities or students who are gifted intellectually. Students with exceptionalities exhibit differences from other students in such a way that they require a specialized or individualized special education program so as to benefit from education fully. It includes children or students who perfume so superiorly as well as those who experience learning difficulties such that instructions and modifications are required to help them reach their potential.
How we respond and recognize exceptional students has a major effect on their success both in and out of school.
