The Importance of Teaching US History in Kenya
The importance of teaching US history in Kenya has sparked an interest in both history and technology. The common core values in Kenyan technology and social life still welcome their friends in the fight to free the country from strife and irrelevance ( 33-360) 1. Kenyans are expected to develop new skills that will allow them to face life while also encouraging new standards of living and technology. Strong leadership, as shown by Barrack Obama, has often trained people on the big quality cores, separating them from previous norms. The role of religion and leadership of America in Obama’s leadership is to bring people together for unity. It was also to enhance the growth of the religious rights in the public square and at the same time led to the growth of non-European ethnic-religious communities. Religion made the people of Kenya and America be loyal to the faith and the political bodies as well (34-35)1. The religion was so much attached to the matters of the political affairs and joined many diverse groups together under one God.
The Elevation of the Importance of Historical Documents
By doing this, the elevation of the importance of historical documents in the reading comprehension will make the students and other people valued1. History is not taken as any other English class about a crucial topic. The history taught today is helping people emerge from the dark ages of education policy to the new modern ways ( Brian , 2008), 2.
The Role of Civil Society and the Government
Barack Obama’s working with Kenya indicates that civil society has many roles to play which are very different to the government ( 5-8)2. Protection of human rights is a role played by civil society especially when it comes to children and women; the society has the character fighting on their behalf to defend them. Social cohesion is among the primary duties of the civil society. Obama made decisions on foreign affairs to maintain peace. The actions were to monitor peace building in the community and the nation as a whole. Obama said, “The government has many roles to play in the society” (1-5) 2. These roles are well listed in the United States constitution. The primary role of the government during his time is to make a perfect union and promote the general welfare of the society. The government is expected to have a particular system of controlling a state and form a perfect union ( 6-9)2. Obama made sure that all have the duty of establishing justice and secures blessings of liberty. Justice was to be attained through fair distribution of resources and offering aids to the less fortunate in the society. The government of Obama in America taught Kenyan government how it is expected to fix rules to be followed and follow them to the letter.
The Impact of Small Wars and Suburban Growth
The small wars Kenya faced also ended finally during the period of the year 2008. Here war brought the process of lower residential density, industrial and commercial failure that was beyond the country city (Wuthnow, 1989), 4. The growth of suburbs was as a result of several factors which included the social legacy of depression and also mass demobilization after the war (12-15)2. The greater movement was involving the housing and development, mass marketing and also automobiles as well. There was also a dramatic change in the Kenyan demographics. Many of the families were now moving from the farms to the cities as a sign of change. Through America, Kenyan culture at this time underwent a major development where the race and the dynamics had begun to shift (Wuthnow, 1989), 5. The distance which was long between the homes and work helped in developments of highways and booming of the house constructions where the older community had already started to disappear.
The Long-Term and Short-Term Goals of Obama’s Leadership
The history of Obama over the Kenyan nation is seen to have both long-term and short-term goals (12-15)2. The understanding of mental life for every citizen is critical at this period. The apprehension of events is also not left behind and where education is taken as the core need for every single citizen ( Brian, 7), 2. Obama dictated through his visit to Kenya that leading, in this case, takes the key where the disclose of the wise is seen. The reveal of the difference between the poor and the smart and at this case the foolish are related to the misunderstanding. Different books explore two different ideas which are understanding and design as well. Understanding is a critical issue and at the same time very relevant.
The Influence of Environment and Perception
During his relationship with Kenya, Obama as USA president perception of things depends on the environment, and this will bring about different knowledge3. Understanding is crucial to be able to perform a task in a perfect way well experience gives the light and skills to carry it out in a professional way. Development is seen to be an aspect on its own. Knowledge is the one that gives the guidelines to be in a position to accomplish a particular set task. Understanding is seen as coming to terms with the game rules. According to him, knowledge is seen as a more sophisticated form of agreement by understanding a certain concept. In the real sense, knowledge is entirely different from understanding. Any usage of a thing has a different development and understanding is very different. Most of the times events depend on the way people perceive things and the relationship in the different societies.
The Impact of Discrimination and Economic Challenges
After the Second World War, American forces reflected in the discrimination that they had suffered at home. Obama’s relationship with Kenya showed that Kenyan governance has a significant role to play Americans being their role model. The experience had so much related to the political awareness. American had so much suffered outback of racial discrimination (Wuthnow, 1989), 5. There was so much discrimination, and nobody could tell who the enemy was. The youth had so much faced pressure as they tried to compete with the growing economy. Young people at this time refused to serve in the military.
The Gap Between Poverty and the Rich
Many of the Americans citizens are living under below the poverty line which has led to waking up call to regain the lost. The same influences Kenya since most of the times food comes from such companies3. The Americans have taken a different path in the recession of the lost and catering for the poor Americans below the poverty line. The primary cause of poverty is the financial gap between the poor and the rich, and this brings the total difference between the two groups in the society. The rich are known to use the weak on doing the illegal things that will only add value to the wealthy and limit the poor. The middle-class Americans are those hats suffer hardships in their local areas and having 91% of those people in working positions. In Kenya, the comparison is totally different.
The Issue of Corruption
The different constitution acts dividends the American nation in many different classes where the majority fall in the middle-class group. The analysis has been compared to that of Kenya in a clear and straight forward way. Most of the people working in the government are said to be taking dirty money taking, for example, the prison stakeholders. The most annoying thing is that no law is enforced to these people even after using the money meant for prisoners. The acts are even beyond corruption as the standard magazine indicates. These people using the poor to gain more wealth on top of their earning (10-17)3. The weak team down in the line has to depend on the upper classes for them to survive. Statistics always indicate that the middle-class people are always at the risk of vanishing. Obama says that the reason is that middle-class people in America have to work hard and for long hours to adjust to the situations. It goes hand in hand with the accumulating prices in the market. Mortgages have become so expensive for the middle-class people who are also a challenge to them and make it hard for them to purchase. The economy is changing every day, and the gap between the wealthy and poor continues to widen. The part of this study on corruption has left Kenya on a loose ground and acts as a challenge on how to solve corruption issues.
The Role of Government and the Influence of the Rich
According to Obama during his visit to Africa, “poor are said to be the majority, but the rich are meant to influence the society.” The government has the mandate to make laws for the poor to reduce suffering in the country. A developing nation can only take place if the government takes its roles seriously by reducing corrupt practices in the name of capitalism. The biggest challenge is that the same rich people are the one who occupies the highest government position3. The posts are the cause of negativity and corruption in the nation. Reforms should be put in place to ensure equity to all people regardless of the class or origin. The act will raise the economy and living standards of the Americans to a better position than they are today. The legislature can only be influenced by the favor of the poor communities living in America.
The Influence of Wealthy Nations and Forced Labor
In conclusion, global research indicates that the wealthy nations use very many processes to feed their pockets. This motivated Kenya in a big way. Many things happen in daily life to drive another activity taking, for example, the prison where the private contracting of prisoners for work fosters incentives to lock the same people up3. The same prisoners depend on this income. We have the prison stakeholders working day and night to get the money to help them. The stakeholders do this by expanding their workforce (Kaba, 2008),3. It is where the whole story of poverty begins. The difference between the emerging countries and the rich ones starts here. The acts result in forced labor which at times goes to the extent of being called slavery3. The nations make a lot of money through the forced labor and concentration camps. From this point, Kenya has really been influenced both positively and negatively in Obama’s reigns.
