This paper will go into Chopin’s background, works, styles, and waltz composing, among other things. It will also analyze his music’s influence on other musicians.
Chopin was born in Warsaw, Poland, to Nicholas Chopin and Justyna Krzyzanowska. Chopin was born in March 1810 and grew up in a middle-class family. He went to Paris and 1832 where he interacted with high-class society, and he was known as a good piano teacher. He was assisted by his parents during the development of his career. Chopin was composing his composition including the Polonaise in G Minor and performing in elegant salons by 1818. He had composed many piano pieces in various styles by 1826.
Chopin composed various pieces including waltz. He brought transformation in the world of the waltz. The original waltz form was first used by peasants in the 13th century in Germany. Despite the waltz popularity, it experienced criticism by few individuals. The works done by Chopin had a significant impact on the music (Nicholas, 56). Continuous generations of Polish composers were inspired by Chopin’s Polonaises. The musicians imitated musical shape in the compositions of Chopin’s melodies, harmonic methods and types of expressions that were specific to Polish genius. Waltz results in emotions as it pours hearts of both the performer and the audiences.
Even after his death, Chopin’s music remains relevant up to date. Before he died, he ordered the destruction his works which had not been published during his last moments (Kelley,96). His compositions provided lessons to many.
