In order to boost its financial performance and achieve sustainable growth, the company strives to increase the productivity of its workforce. Coca-Cola has seen a growth in its market share over the past 20 years, but it will be simple for it to achieve its objectives and ambitions if staff productivity increases.
After a two-week training program on performance improvement and skills, the target will be evaluated by tracking the advancement of employees in various company departments. Additionally, departmental supervisors will be required to evaluate employee input and while doing so they will find it easy to gauge their performance.
The objective will also be measured by assessing the employees’ ability to meet the tastes and preferences of the consumers.
Coca-Cola, in its quest for increasing its productivity aims at ensuring that it creates a workforce that it is aligned to the set goals. The company also focuses on improving the skills of its employees.
Additionally, the company aims at incorporating a workplace environment where all the employees can easily meet their full potential, thus contributing to an increase in the firm’s productivity.
The company will come up with a one month training program where its employees will be educated on various measures that they can embrace in bolstering their productivity (De Waal, 2013). During the training program, for instance, employees will have an opportunity to learn more about various aspects of technology and innovation and how they can use it in enhancing their performance.
Lessons on leadership and conflict resolution will also be provided as a part of the training. Before implementation of the strategy, workers will be required to offer any other suggestions that they feel will be suitable to the firm (Hawthorne & Turner, 2014).
Another objective that has been put in place by the Coca-Cola company is enhancement of its technological systems. It aims at attaining this objective by putting in place various measures one of them being incorporation of sustainable innovation systems in each department.
The objective will be measured through various techniques. First and foremost, the management of all the departments that where the new innovative systems will be incorporated will closely monitor the performance.
Comparison of information on the productivity of the company before and after the incorporation of advanced technology will also be useful in measuring the objective.
The company, through the set objectives aims at improving its revenue generation and net profitability levels. In so doing, it focuses at gaining a competitive advantage over the rival firms in the market such as Pepsi Corporation.
Another target set by the company is the enhancement of its consumer base and this it will attain if its set objective is a success.
Implementation of advanced technological system is a process that will require a collective effort from various departments within the organization (Murby & Gould, 2005). A training and development program will also be rolled out and employees from various departments will have to undergo training in handling information systems and other technological aspects.
Another company’s objective is to produce products and services that meet the tastes and preferences of their customers. Coca-Cola enjoys a global dominance and this has been one of the reasons behind an increase in its sales. In the recent past, it has been on a growth plan that aims at capturing the attention of consumers in various market segments.
The objective will be measured by collecting relevant information on the performance of various market segments.
Consumer response on the various products in the market will also be used in measuring the objective.
The target for this activity is the enhancement in the firm’s customer base and in the process contributes to an increase in its revenue generations and net profits.
The company also targets to beat its previous year’s financial performance by meeting the consumer needs and satisfactions.
The organization will come up with a campaign awareness program that will play a critical role in educating the masses about its new soft drinks and beverage products. In so doing, this will contribute to an expansion in the ability of the firm to tap into the untapped markets.
The sales and marketing team will be equipped with skills on some of the strategies that they will employ in ensuring that they capture the attention of various customers, one of them being the use of aggressive advertisements (De Waal, 2013). The customer service team will also be trained on techniques of effectively handling consumer concerns.
Relationships between learning and growth objectives and financial objectives
Enhancement of the organization’s productivity is linked to the sustainable growth objective and this will be vital in an increase in its financial performance. An enhancement in its technological systems can be made possible through partnership with firms such as Betway and this will play a critical role in an enhancement of its operational efficiencies thus improved revenue generation. Production of goods and services that meet consumer tastes and preferences has a direct relationship with the firm’s ability to ensure that all roll-outs are effectively monitored. In so doing, this will contribute to an increase in Coca-Cola’s productive base (Aaker, 2012). Finally, I will make no changes on my Module 1, 2, or 3 objective write-ups in light of your Module 4 experience.
