Many organizations have incorporated modern technology to run their day to day operations and the systems include: enterprise systems, search engines, information systems that help in geography, office automation, and systems of data management. It is against this backdrop that this study seeks to address the above in regard to manufacturing system designs that are cloud based.

Research Objectives

The study targets the existing definitions for Cloud Based Design Manufacturing Systems (CBDM), identifying essential characteristics of CDBM, elaborate a system metric requirement checklist which an ideal CDBM should have and most importantly contrast CDBM to other information systems like agent and web design and other systems of manufacturing.

Hypothesis

The hypothesis seeks to evaluate how manufacturing that is cloud-based and the creation of a new paradigm will spur the growth of innovation design and digitized manufacturing processing.

Methodology

One methodology used in employing related CBDM system structural design that fuses the process of design manufacturing that are cloud based will combine information and other services that are holistic in nature.

Research Findings

Cloud technology has leverage over other technologies like utility and parallel computing in the sense that the consumers that utilize it can configure and customize their products due to its nature of being agile, on- demand computing and elasticity in the provision of self-services. Some of its important requirements are that it is mandatory for it to becloud computing based, be universally quantifiable from mobile devices complex enough to handle any kind of arising complexities. The conventional application tools such as CAE, CAD and CAM have the important function of a single user leaving no room to interact with others while in CBDM settings it’s engineered to communicate and interact with others inside and outside the organization (Wu et, al. 2015). The CBDM facilitates the people trade and simply access development information for drones at any particular level of its development. This characteristic then gives leeway to development engineers utilize all info related the analysis of Social networks (SNA). This then improves the interaction and information exchange between the different manufacturing design procedures and processes.

The facilitation model developed above also helps in the conduction of research related to different markets across the globe. Its effectiveness is done through social media by using platforms such as hoot suite, epions and sales force.com, Twitter, Facebook and Google plus to get customers opinions and the new features of drones. Other traditional information systems compared to CBDM are very expensive because there requirements are substantial in regard to resources need for computing consistency of the data availed, transparency in communication and sharing of information via seamless gadget.

CBMD elaborates existing ideas that give insight on the various definitions that have been given to the term. In doing so, the article targeted the characteristics of CBMD. The paper identified the comparison of the system and other web based systems that are information related. Manufacturing systems as have been developing through the recent past increasingly become sophisticated and cut down the procedure as had been known. The design of the different systems also means manufacturing engineers adopt the best practices according to the current research on the market and current practice. Self-service is an important consideration along other ways making sure that the process of manufacturing performs highly. The distinction of CBDM has made it become the best way in which manufacturing processes are conducted.
