Case study of Philips Furniture

First and foremost, I would inform Mr. Albert Philips of my desire to concentrate on payroll for all employees. In this situation, I would explain some of the company’s finances to him. Also, I would like to certify all of the personnel. Normally, one method of attracting consumers would be to hire people who have the relevant certification in the field of business (Jerjawi, 2011). These people will undoubtedly produce high-quality furniture. This approach assures that all employees in the organization are highly skilled. In effect, the confidence of the clients will be increased in the business (Tucker, 2017). For this reason, the majority of clients will still find the satellite store beneficial due to the quality products they offer. As a consequence, Mr. Phillips would not be seeing the need for relocating.

In the same way, the fiduciary situation of the business has to be addressed. As the new human resource manager, I would try to explain to Mr. Philip how much the business would be generating. The amount that the business makes helps in deciding the size of the warehouse to be constructed or rented. Also, the amount that the business generates plays a significant role in determining the payment of the employees as well as other operational costs. These critical questions help especially at the time of planning the financial future of the business which in this case is to open additional satellite stores (Jerjawi, 2011).

Before making any move, I would advise Mr. Philip to ensure that the furniture company operates in accordance with the rules and regulations of the government. Also, I would decide to meet with the local business development center. In trying to satisfy the needs of the customers, I would project the growth of the company. This exercise ensures that the company supply goods that meet the demands of the potential customers. Furthermore, I would introduce measures that manage all the benefits of health for employees. For the company to run efficiently, I would also keep track of the files of the current employees (Tucker, 2017).

Question 2: What would be your first action, and why?

My first action would involve drafting a practical plan on the matters that affect the company. These practices would aim at ensuring that all the current files of the employees are kept up to date. All the paperwork that is necessary must also be present. At this point, the employees who miss anything would be required to fill and return the form to the office of the human resource manager as soon as possible.

The main aim of drafting a proper plan is to put my idea into writing (Tucker, 2017). In this scenario, the business idea would involve the possibility of relocation, opening new satellite stores, as well as striving to satisfy the needs of the customers. Another idea is also how to go about gaining the control of the manufacturing plant of Martin furniture. Here, the best approach is to take the several ideas from the head and put them down on the paper (Jerjawi, 2011). For this Philips furniture to be successful, it has to offer a new service or product in the market.
