Nurses handling clients with endocrine disorders should take into consideration the drugs one has been taking before prescribing thyroid treatment. Administering of similar medications will have no positive changes on the patient. The heartbeat above 100 in adults and 120 in children needs special treatment by the doctor (Takahashi, Udagawa & Suda, 2014). Furthermore, the nurse should deliver an appropriate cure to an individual. Fruits rich in ascorbic acid like oranges and tomatoes that increase absorption of medicine are recommended.
Considerations concerning renal diseases are as follows: the medical specialist must monitor the client’s intake of fluids to avoid dehydration. More so, food eaten by the patient should contain fewer proteins and sodium to prevent waste in the bloodstream (Morton et al. 2017). Ill persons should also have frequent oral hygiene.
The three important considerations when caring for patients with reproductive system problems are as follows. First, the nurse should assess the patient’s pain in 2 to 4 hours and make sure that he or she intervenes to help in controlling the pain (Morton et al. 2017). Secondly, it is important to monitor the patient closely in case of infection signs (Morton et al. 2017). For instance, the elderly patients with reproductive problems might have underlying chronic diseases. Third and lastly, the patient should be provided with a safe environment.
The first method to control pain can be through exercising emotional treatment without pharmacological involvements, like touch, substituting the mattress, and encouraging motility (Romanek & Avelar, 2014). Second, the implementation of neurostimulators also reduces pain such as muscular, neural, and epidermal electrodes in humans.
Nurses help the clients in achieving social, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual fulfillment in hospitals (West et al., 2018). They submit the required records to doctors, keeping patient’s hygiene, providing moral support, and giving the sick self-fulfillment.
