The Paper

The paper is to present a brief but detailed answer to three posts, each relating to a U2 song, the sharing of key information to all possible existing audiences, and an important principle surrounding scientific writing.

The Song

The song is one of the singles from U2’s 1987 Joshua Tree album. The poems contained in various Old Testament writings, such as Psalms, serve as the foundation for the style used in crafting this song. Despite the author of this song showing the readers that he is having a great longing and single-minded focus, he fails to clarify what exactly he is searching for hence making his writing style identical to that of King David of the Old Testament (Lanois & Brian 3). The author uses a lot of illusions in the third stanza as he tries to show his audience his personal beliefs and worldview. A closer look at this third verse shows that the author has a keen perception of another powerful creature who seems to have sacrificed a lot to erase all the shame of the author.

Post Two

Dissemination entails the researcher putting a lot of consideration on the target audiences and the kind of settings to be used in disclosing the findings of his or her study. That means that it is crucial for scholars to employ competent and explicit conceptual frameworks that will ensure that knowledge translation and transfer to the intended audience is successfully achieved (Wilson, et al. 5). Dissemination of information enables all the possible audiences to gain a lot of insight on how to maneuver over the existing challenges and be in a better position to make informed decisions. The potential audience may also include those individuals who lack interest in your work but may eventually benefit from the knowledge and awareness provided by your research findings hence making it essential for the scholars always to disseminate their research data to all the possible audiences.

Post Three

The first way that a scholar should focus on using to achieve an outstanding scholarly writing is by first ensuring that he or she understands the intended audience. The strategy to be used in communicating information in any academic written material is through first understanding the kind of audience at hand since there exist different ways of passing the written message to the various existing audiences. This move ensures that the author is in a better position to fully meet the different expectations of the intended readers as he or she can select the appropriate structure of writing the work (Brantford 3). After understanding the possible audience, the scholar should then start with an outstanding thesis that will set the grounds for the rest of the work and keep the readers more willing and enthusiastic to continue reading the scholarly written work. From there, the scholar should then employ essential academic concepts such as using the right tone, helping the audience understand the bigger picture of the entire work, the use of proper diction, language, appropriately citing the sources within the body of the work, using effective evidence-based arguments and using outstanding higher-order thinking skills.
