For any company to advance to the next stage, it must include a senior team of people to oversee all of the specific regions. Creating such a group necessitates matching roles to individuals’ skills and strengths. It simply means delegating assignments based on ability level. When assembling an executive team, look for talent in the following fields (Sum Chau 2008):

The new management team will include a Chief Executive Officer (CEO), a Senior Vice President (SVP) in banking, two SVPs in internet web services, and a Chief Design Officer (CDO). Four Senior Vice Presidents one to handle finance, the second to control hardware engineering, the third to handle worldwide marketing and the fourth to hardware technologies. Chief Operating Officer (COO), Vice President in User Interface Design and Communications. Vice President in Industrial Design, environment, policy and social initiatives, Vice President of Greater China, Vice President in Marketing Communications and Vice President to handle people and inclusion and diversity. The management team will also include a board of directors. The CEO will be the leader and responsible for all activities being conducted by the firm. His objective will be to determine strategies for the business. The CEO will hire and build the working team. The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will handle the firm’s complex operational details. His main considerations are about delivery issues of the business, which is day after day. The President will play a role in overseeing staff functions. Also in case both the CEO and COO are absent, the president can fill their gaps by resuming control. Financial officer manages funds of the enterprise (Sum Chau 2008). They come up with budgets and financing projects and find out the best option for the firm regarding leasing or buying. Later on, they construct a system which will supervise the financial health of the enterprise. Marketing officer is in control of the marketing strategy. They will genuinely evaluate the industry and positions its product, make a distinction from your competitors, appoint dealers, and ensure customers are craving for your product alone. Technology Officer primary work is to keep up with trends in the technology sector. They merge the available patterns into firm’s strategies and ensure the business keeps on going when it’s necessary (Sum Chau 2008).

An organizational structure figures the firms business activities. It also dictates restrictions on the methods used by the company to solve its problems. (Csaszar F. A 2013) On the other hand, an organizational culture describes ways through which people respond to challenges in the workspace. The flexibility of human resources of a firm partially assumes the attitude in the corporate culture. A firm’s organizational structure and organizational culture can be necessary for enhancing competitive advantage and success. The organizational structure combines with the organizational learning to manage the significant competitive merit of an enterprise.

Apple’s organizational structure is a crucial factor contributing to the firm’s success in innovation. This business will have a hierarchical organizational structure (Csaszar F. A 2013). The hierarchy contains the upward chain of authority in the corporate structure. It merely implies that apart from the CEO, every employee has a superior. Top level managers come up with directives and mandates which will implement by middle managers and other employees. The firm’s organizational structure based on defining various groups of employees fulfilling different functions. For instance, the company contains a department for human resource management, information technology, and marketing. The creation of new brands like Apple watches joined to the support from the company’s organizational structure. Characteristics of Apple’s corporate structure include:

Spoke-and-wheel hierarchy; whereby collaboration required from different departments of the company. The vice presidents have also been given more autonomy. Function-Based grouping; the upper rank of the organizational structure has a product-based cluster, a component developed from the divisional organizational structure. Each senior vice president reports to the CEO. Product-based grouping; There are some vice presidents below the senior vice president for different output and products.

The main reason for having a hierarchical organizational structure is to corporate managers to influence the entire organization. New approaches and strategies established at corporate headquarters, and then they are acknowledged to regional managers who pass them to the store managers. Through this, useful supervision and control accomplished through the hierarchical functional organizational structure (Csaszar F. A 2013).

The organizational culture of this enterprise will entail four major components. The functions of these elements will be to guide employees’ behaviors and morals. They include top-notch excellence, innovation and creativity, secrecy, and usual combativeness (Gochhayat, Giri & Suar 2017). Top-notch excellence requires the firm’s organizational culture to form policies of choosing only the best workers. Any employee who fails to meet his expectations is fired. In product design, for instance, excellence is viewed as a critical success. Creativity makes sure that the companies employees selected for their creative skills. The organizational culture highlights the significance of creativity for example in product design and development. Under innovation, the firm’s organizational culture is very innovative. All workers are encouraged to innovate in their work performance. It has a positive influence as it facilitates rapid innovation. Secrecy is a company’s strategy aimed at minimizing theft of essential data. Upon employment, workers agree to this mode of secrecy. Moderate combativeness; the CEO challenges employees to be confident that they have the required work-force to work in Apple.
