The mental and physical development of students depends on the professionalism of the teacher. This component equips teachers with the essential information, attitudes, and abilities that make an efficient and effective teacher. Students are given proper information using knowledge, which they will then apply in practical situations. Skills are the method of instructing students during class that will pique their interest in learning, and disposition is the professional trait that enables teachers to plan effectively.
Professionalism is described as the use of judgment to aid in decision-making within the range of one’s expertise; to be considered professional, one must possess the specialized knowledge necessary to do so. Usually, teachers are supposed to plan, develop and design a digital-age learning assessment and experiences. This requires development, design, and evaluation of an authentically learning assessment and experience that incorporate resources and tools contemporary in order to establish the right pedagogy of instruction. The content of learning should adhere to students’ innovation ability and also their creative thinking of the candidate. Teachers should design an up to date learning instructions that incorporate digital resources and tools that there can promote student creativity and learning. The teachers should have knowledge on information technology in order to design digital relevant materials which are compactable with the digital world. They should have the right needed skills and experiences that will help them to design and develop the critical strategy of implementing the curriculum which will boost student understanding on digital theories. Digital resources and products should be availed to the teacher in order to give the student a learning experience on the digital platform (Bowen, 2012).
The Technologic learning environment should be developed and implemented in order to enrich student with the learning experience and to enable them to participate actively and pursue personal curiosities in managing and assessing their individual progress on the set educational goals. This incorporated technological tools will help the students to achieve and acquire knowledge and academic quest. For instance, the digital platform which helps student to access learning materials, take and submit the exam for online marking and awarding of grades, the recommendation is also given on that same platform to enable them to improve in future. Blogs are also the example of learning platform where student are motivated online by the teacher to help them develop the interest in the subject been taught.
Student diverse styles should be addressed by creating customized and personal harmonized learning materials and activities by the teacher. Digital resources and tools should be the working strategies in effects to boost students learning abilities.it is duty and obligation on the teacher to know and identify how the different students are understanding the instructions. Thus it important and necessary to address individual efforts of every student when digital resources are been utilized. Students have different learning and understanding capability due to their adaptability to learning material and environment, hence there should be handled differently in accordance with standards and mind development (Rennie, & Morrison, 2013).
To conclude this standard, it is important for students to be provided with variety and multiple summative and assessment course which is aligned with technology and content standards which are beneficial to both learning and teaching of digital information knowledge. Evaluation of students learning should have the common denominator which will help to assess the student process from the guided teaching framework.
In normal cases, motivation and facilitation are the most critical standard which teachers are supposed to possess. Teachers should motivate and facilitate students’ creativity and learn.in this, the teacher is supposed to use his or her skills, understanding, and knowledge in developing student thinking and creativity and giving them ultimate experience. The teacher should shape creativity and support student change of action through visual innovation environment (Baker, & Willis, 2016). The teacher should carefully monitor and identify each student weakness and strength in the certain field of study and help them to practical concentrate in the field of interest.
The student should be involved in solving real-world problems using the knowledge they have gained from digital resources and tools. They should be given challenging situations to think critically and come up with real-life solutions. For example, the teacher can give them the problem of cyber hacking as a computer-generated problem to come up with the required security requirement solution in combating and preventing cyber hacking menace.
Another achievable trait is the student reflection promotion, this is an inspirational tool which collaborates resources in order to clarify and reveal the conceptual thinking and understand of the student. This helps in planning the creativity process development of student through using different learning resources which enable the development and promotion of this behavior trait (Morphew, 2012). Students are group into a unit and then given comprehensive and complex challenging task, for this student must corporate through teamwork in order to get out of that particular situation. This helps to test the creativity and mental ability to make decisions and helping others.
Lastly, the leadership model is used to constructively engage the student in group discussion, face-to-face reality. This helps them to develop courage and public speaking. In this, students are given a virtual environmental project like a computer system developed. Here they form a group and, through collaboration and necessary acquisition, they are able to develop and present it in class. Here the whole team is divided into units and given roles and responsibilities to undertake.
