The term “structural violence” is used to describe how some social organizations or societal structures can be unfair by preventing some people from meeting even the most basic requirements. In the United States, structural racism can be sensed in the experiences that people have had through time, whether they are black people or people from other parts of the North. Many of them are also English Dutch, among others. The United States of America is one of the nations or states that has a lengthy history of dealing with racial issues, particularly slavery. The main groups of people who are mostly victims of this racism are the black people and mostly most of the research has also focused on this specific group.

They have experienced a number of things in their lives from being decimated from health harming issues and some of the immigration and also nativism. Some of the forefront issues that have brought about the prolonging of these issues are the ostensibly color blind laws. Since the United States passed or rather made laws concerning discrimination in the past it has become very difficult to change them or rather they view changing it a thing of the past. Jim Crow did not favor much ant-discrimination strategies since discrimination was legalized and now indigenous people fell prey to these laws as they were forcibly removed from their lands. Their children too were not left out they were forcibly forced out of their lands (Farmer, 2001,2004).

There are serious health consequences when issues relating to structural racism are touched. Contemporary scholarship has brought out some of the consequences that are brought about by structural racism such as harms health and other economic exposures. It has been established that some of the matters involving discrimination are interpersonal in nature (Vance, 2017). Healthcare setting is set on racial discrimination basis and whereby some other minor factors such as biasness in the health sector taking charge, the minority groups who are the majority poor have very poor healthcare settings. However, they do not involve institutions alone or rather interpersonal discriminations.

It would be a good start to cater for structural racism such as making sure to focus largely on institutional racism. He places people attend their job is very important for addressing health and health equity. A place such as where the kids play and live is very important in such a way that they can place pressure on the relevant institutions to change. Also, pressuring the government on the level of public support such that the formed groups will act at the long run large-scale projects that are based or involve making good impression in the long run.

Sexuality has popularly grown to be a serious matter that concerns health and human rights. There is a growing number of documentation and advocacy based on rights, which have now been looking at sexuality questions seriously. However, bodies like the UN human right are constantly engaging and taking issues relating to health and harm very seriously (Zinzi et al, 2017).

Putting an end to structural violence should involve a number of ways such as that of training the next generation which will be the next foundation. Also looking at it this way over the past decades Structural Violence has been passed from one generation to the other over time since they are training their generations as such. Even after the students have graduated it is vital for some of the organizations to make sure that they are keeping track and educating the graduates on issues involving structural violence and racism. The policies that were enacted years ago are long overdue and people should advocate for policy reform. When looking at how black people are subordinated it calls for greater strategies that can be incorporated so as to reform the structure. The institutions that are largely carrying out discriminations should be cleaned up thoroughly.
