Parental Involvement

Rationale

The problems above are the major causes of Adam’s underperformance in school. The irrationality in emotional thinking and knowledge in Adam is because of the grandparents, who do not take on their roles and that of the school. First, the support they can afford regarding follow up misses. It is basic for the grandparents to follow up, and show as proof to Adam that they are supporting, which allows the emotional balance and sound thinking. He could be suffering from stress related issues and the missing information from the grandparents to empower them to play their roles. The fear of burdening the school with the roles is worrying expression ignorance, which they can overturn and participate in the development of Adam.

The preceding life of Adam is a contributor to the problems he is experiencing. His sister has drug related problems, from a syndrome that originated from the parents. The implication of this biological problem is that Adam has it too. There is a relief as drug related problems are solvable in rehabilitation clinics, which the school should examine for a solution. Research by Honby (2011) indicates that these genetic problems spread to several members of the family. The Manor (2013), in agreement with Honby (2011), stresses the need for social support to children, directing them on how to handle difficulties to support it for improvements in their education.

The communication between parents and the school is an imperative aspect of information sharing. Cases that parents or guardians cannot follow up can be easy to handle by the school. Honby (2011) illustrates how the intervention of the school, which has a pool of experts, treats all these issues from the outlooks of their previous experiences. Most schools can handle them with the regard they demand. It is not easy to drop the experience, which the people need to understand more as a method of developing plans for recovery. Some can include counseling in case of necessary behaviors as in the case (Honby, 2011). The consistency of these processes is an intervention method to solve the future problem, in the present. It is because the persistence of these issues can bring in the future development of the child to jeopardy.

Finally, ignoring the parental upbringing at home and the consequences to the education of the child contributes significantly to the development of the child. It is a requirement that the parents take considerable responsibility for the behavior and the ideas of the child. In this case, it is not coming out well as Adams is losing the obedience he needs towards the parents. It may not be his mistake, but an issue with a lengthy period in history. If the grandparents have ways of ensuring discipline prevails, they could handle these problems easily. Without this, Adam’s finds himself in a world of freedom, which limits his ability to develop on all his spheres of education.

In conclusion, the education sector’s demands are persistent and can be successful if the parent accepts to take a step it supports the child and school. The case of Adam has complications from the unwilling parent and uncooperative school. Nobody is approaching the other regarding the issues the child is experiencing. More harm is from the grandparents, who even though are of age, fear of taking the parental responsibility. As exhibited, there are sources to this, like psychiatric and biological problems, discipline issues and communication. A change of tact, steps and mind should solve these matters to enable Adam to have a quality education.
