Instructions: Please respond to the following questions. Because this is a Q&A assignment, you do not need to change the format I created. Simply answer the questions below. For further information, please see the attached example (Sample).

- Provide concise, meaningful, and reflective responses to each question.

- There is no requirement for a source.

1. What were the assessment’s findings? Do you agree or disagree with the outcomes?

According to the results of the leading positive change evaluation, I have a normal ability to lead positive change, as demonstrated by a score of 111. I agree with these results because in all circumstances I try to carry out exemplary actions that can be emulated by those around me. I am able to do this, not because I want to please people, but because I want my fellow young people to take charge of elements of life around them. I also ensure that I am concerned with the well-being of younger people or new people within the organization. I always like making sure that people around me feel free to associate with me and find the work environment to be a conducive place where they can freely express their opinions and ideas.

2. How do your assessment results align with others in your demographic group who have taken the assessment?

In relation to my course results, I am comfortable that I am doing well with a score of 50%. It is however worrying that there are no people who exhibit a high ability to lead positive change. This personally motivates me to strive to become better in relation to leading people positively. This is also evidenced from the global results where only 6.9% of the participants are ranked with a high ability to lead positive change. As much as I fall under the 32.7% of the people who have a normal ability to lead positive change, my assessment results in comparison to my demographic group have encouraged me to strive for ways to inspire more change.

3. As you reflect on the facets of the results or the commentary provided in the results, what is most meaningful and important to you? Which is less meaningful? Explain your decision.

The most meaningful commentary provided in the results was on my personal capability to lead change. This is mainly because I believe change comes from within. An individual cannot inspire others if he cannot be an inspiration to himself. People around you will not find you as a role model if you are not able to demonstrate positive change within your own life. This is the core element to being able to lead people within any team and in the organization at large.

The least meaningful commentary was the ability to mobilize others towards positive change. This is the least meaningful commentary in relation to the other two provided. Additionally, it is closely relation to one’s personal ability to lead positive change making it similar to it. I also believe that mobilizing others towards positive change is heavily reliant on someone’s feelings towards you. An individual’s personal feelings and inclinations may influence his or her preference to positive leadership.

4. How will I use this information to further my professional development?

This information has led me to realize that there is much more to be done in relation to leading others towards positive change. Primarily, it has called me out of my comfort zone and made me realize that there are people within my demographic group who are actually able to achieve much more. I will share this information with my colleagues who will then give me feedback on strategies I can employ to inspire more positivity especially to those around me. I will take their feedback positively as it will aid in even identifying areas in my life that I can improve on. This is mainly because as a leader, subordinates and other team members may find it hard to point out any weaknesses I might exude.

This information will also be a constant reminder of the vitality of leading positive change regardless of my surrounding. It has encouraged me to devise strategies on how I can lead positive change to even those who are older and more experienced than I am. This information will encourage me to work on my confidence especially dealing with those who are older than me.

5. Summary Paragraph:

I liked this assessment as it brought out a key element that is significantly deficient within our societies, that is, the ability to lead positive change. People nowadays are more concerned about their personal growth and do not want others to be part of their achievements. Competition and rivalry has become quite serious to the extent where an individual would not want to influence others positively with the fear that they will become better than them.

This assessment will definitely be a constant reminder to me about the importance of being a role model particularly to adopting positive change. It has also given me a new perspective where I am able to learn that I can also influence those who are older than me. This is because we can always learn something from one another, even those younger than us.
