The modern classroom seems out of touch with the formative assessment meant to improve their understanding and to gauge the achievement of the learning objective. More educators surely see the mode of evaluation –both self and for the student – as outdated, and see the need for a change. Working closely with the student opens our eyes to the current needs encountered by our students in class. Thus, enriching their learning experiences, and their translation of these experiences into the real world.
I affirm that personal growth and development is essential to ensuring that our students achieve close to 100% (if not 100%) of the learning objectives. This, I agree, translates to the assessment of out teaching skills, our competence and, our interests to achieve these goals.
